Chocolate Brownie Tart

If you are looking for a desert that is set to impress then look no further than this delicious Chocolate Brownie Tart. It is absolutely delicious, and will impress all of your guests when you tell them that it has been made using LUPINS.

YOU WILL NEED (TART BASE)

 

YOU WILL NEED (FILLING)

  • 400ml can coconut cream
  • 280g dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch salt

 

YOU WILL NEED (GLAZE)

  • 2 Tablespoons coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 60g dark chocolate

 

NOW WHIP IT UP

  • Preheat oven to 180° C

BASE:
  • Bake brownie as per pack

  • Once cooled, crumble it up

  • Line pie tin with baking paper

  • Press brownie crumbs into pie tin

FILLING:
  • Bring coconut cream to simmer

  • Turn off heat & slowly add chocolate mixing well between additions to ensure all chocolate is melted

  • Cool choc for 10 minutes

  • Whisk eggs, vanilla & salt then add to cooled chocolate

  • Pour filling into base & bake for approx. 25 mins until filling is set

  • Remove from oven & cool

GLAZE:
  • In saucepan combine milk, maple & water. 

  • Heat over low temp

  • Remove from heat & add chocolate & stir to melt

  • Add glaze to top of filling & refrigerate until set (minimum 30 minutes)

  • Enjoy with some coconut yoghurt & berries, or by itself
